red tulips are part of traditional swedish christmas decorations, but i am not sure why. they are sold everywhere right now, along with wreaths and christmas trees, and we bought a big bouquet of them.
also: today i got an early christmas present from the swedish migration board:
my residence permit, valid until 2016!!
it feels wonderful to finally be properly legally registered for the first time in 1.5 years :)
and there's snow on the forecast for tomorrow!

Yay!!! You are now a legal RESIDENT of Sweden! That *must* feel good. Congratulations!
And it was wonderful talking with you for so long yesterday. We don't have to talk for that long every time, though ... don't worry ... I can keep it short and sweet, too.
